Onam Celebration
ONAM CELEBRATION AT RPSD 7th September: Onam is the harvest festival of Kerala. The festival of Onam is dedicated to the King Mahabali who sacrificed himself along with his kingdom in order to stand true to his words. Students of the Middle Wing under the supervision of Ms. Geetha Nair organised the event in the school auditorium. Respected Headmistress, Middle Wing graced the event with their presence. Beautiful and colourful rangoli was displayed on the floor. Students beautifully enacted the mythological story of King Mahabali, followed by an instrumental music performance, Tiger Dance and Onam Dance to commemorate the day. Audience were also explained the significance of other interesting activities like Boat Race, Tug of War and Feast on the festival of Onam. Headmistress ma’am conveyed greetings of the festival to everyone, and also lauded the commendable performances of the students and the teacher incharge. SIP Talks
RJ AMIT MATHUR AT RPSD SIP TALKS 6th August: AT RPSD SIP Talks–3, popular speaker and RJ Amit Mathur (BIG 92.7 FM Delhi, 93.5 RED FM, 90.4 FM Ghaziabad) had an amazing motivational and interaction session with the students of Grade VIII. RJ Amit, the resource person motivated students to respect their elders, observe self-discipline and to maintain a daily dairy for self-evaluation. He also answered to all the queries of students concerning the career prospects of being a Radio Jockey etc. He gave some beneficial tips to students to achieve their goals. After the session, students felt much benefited with such a good time and were even willing to have regular sessions like this. More than 200 students participated in the event. The workshop also focused on making the students build positive self-esteem and discover their true potential.
