ACTIVITY MIDDLE WING 2022-23

OBSERVANCE, INTERNATIONAL NURSES DAY May 12: “Wise and humane management of the patient is the best safeguard against infection” – Florence Nightingale. International Nurses Day is observed annually on the birth anniversary of world’s famous nurse, Florence Nightingale. The day is specially commemorated to honour the angels whom we call as nurses. This special day was celebrated at the Middle Wing, RPSD wherein students of Grade VIII-Andes conducted a special assembly under the supervision of their CT, Mr. Prem Singh. Students presented a series of theme based activities to highlight the importance of the role played by the nurses and the midwives in the health sector. They also honoured the School Nurse, Ms. Lucina by presenting her a beautiful greeting card prepared by them.

IMPROMPTU SPEECH, MIDDLE WING Learning how to deliver an impromptu speech is part of meeting the oral communication standards. English department under the supervision of their HOD, Ms. Savita, conducted the Final Round of Impromptu Speaking activity for the shortlisted students of Grade VI to VIII. Students confidently expressed their views on the topics provided on the spot. NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY DAY (MIDDLE WING) Technology enables progress and knowledge. The National Technology Day (May 11) marks the success of Pokhran Nuclear tests and this helped India stand along with nuclear powers of the world. To commemorate the National Technology Day and to create awareness and interest about science and technology amongst the students, the Science Department, Middle Wing conducted a special activity in school today. Teachers explained to the students about the significance of celebrating National Technology Day. Students were further enlightened on the topic through an interesting skit.
