Ayushman Bharat Diwas Observed Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna (PM-JAY) is the largest health scheme in the world. It was launched by Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2018. The day was observed enthusiastically at the Middle Wing, RPSD. Students of Grade VIII-Alaska carried out the programme with the guidance of their CT, Ms. Kiran Yadav. A short skit was presented by the students to throw light on the healthcare benefits provided under this scheme to crores of Indians who can't afford proper medical facilities.

World Dance Day

International Dance Day Commemorated “The dance can reveal everything mysterious that is hidden in music, and it has the additional merit of being human and palpable.” International Dance Day is the global celebration of dance every year on 29th April. The day was chosen to mark the birth anniversary of the creator of modern ballet, Jean-Georges Noverre. Students of Grade VIII-Himalayas and their CT, Ms. Priyanka organised and conducted the special assembly to commemorate the day. Highlight of the assembly was a special dance performance by the students as a tribute to the King of Pop, the legendary dancer, Michael Jackson. It was choreographed by Mr. Vishnu.

Learning By Doing

LEARNING BY DOING, CLASS VIII Learning by doing is one of the most effective methods for getting desirable outcomes in teaching-learning process. Under the supervision of Ms. Jyoti Yadav (SSc. Department), the students of Grade VIII-Atlas carried out an interesting and informative activity. Students got to know about the formation of soil, difference between new and old soil, factors affecting soil formation, soil degradation and conservation of soil.

MAP ACTIVITY, CLASS VI- VIII Using maps in the classroom invites curiosity, encourages exploration and inspires problem solving. SSc. Department conducted Map Activity for Grade VI- VIII students today. Topics of the activity were 'Physical features and Diversity of India, 'My country India', ' Indian crops' and 'Constitution'.

World Malaria Day

Awareness Programme, World Malaria Day 25th April: Science Department, Middle Wing conducted an awareness programme in school today on the occasion of World Malaria Day. It was a general awareness programme wherein the science teachers provide essential information to students about; the theme of Malaria Day 2022, causes and symptoms of malaria diseases, and life cycle of malaria parasite. At the end, students were enlightened on the precautions one should take to avoid this disease.
